If You Have Been Harmed

In addition to putting up this web site, there are two more steps I am taking to try and protect and aid other folks who may have been abused at New England Baptist Hospital, or other medical professionals in other settings.

Class Action Suit
I am collecting names and information from people who have been treated abusively by doctors and staff at NEBH for a possible class-action suit. If you, a friend, colleague, client, or family member has been subjected to abusive treatment or patient rights violations at New England Baptist Hospital, or by an NEBH doctor, you may be eligible to join a class of other patients who are suing the hospital and its doctors as a group.

To find out more, or to join the group, send an e-mail to hospitalabuse@aol.com. Put "class action" in the subject line. You may not receive a confirmation right away: don’t worry, you haven’t been forgotten.

Group Therapy for Medical Abuse Survivors
If you have been traumatized by physical, medical, emotional, sexual, or medication abuse by a doctor, case manager, nurse, chaplain or other medical professional, you can join a group to provide comfort, support, and healing for medical abuse survivors. If you suffer from flashbacks, nightmares, depression, overall anxiety, mistrust, road rage, obsessive thoughts, inability to tolerate medical treatment, or some kind of phobia (like agoraphobia or claustrophobia) after being subjected to malicious or abusive medical care, group therapy is available to help you.

Medical abuse can be just as devastating as assault or rape. The good news is that treatments are available to help you feel better, to live more normally, to make it possible to tolerate medical care again, and to help you regain your sense of trust in yourself and the world. I have done it: You can, too. To inquire about joining a therapy group, send an e-mail to: hospitalabuse@aol.com. Put "group" in the subject line.
